A man has been convicted of causing death by careless driving following a road collision in Jaywick that resulted in the death of a 55-year-old man.
Alan Baker, 73, of Brooklands in Jaywick, had previously pleaded not guilty at Chelmsford Crown Court to one count of causing death by careless driving, but was found guilty by a jury yesterday.
Sentencing has been adjourned until Tuesday, August 25.
